Day 1
Welcome to Selvamica
- At FCO you will meet Alessio, the driver who will take to Selvamica. He will wait for you at exit after the passport control.
- Giulia, who will be your point of contact during your stay, will greet you at Selvamica.
- You will find your rental car at the villa.
- You will be ready to enjoy a buffet dinner.
Day 2
Explore Orvieto
- You will meet Cristiana, your personal tour guide, in Piazza Duomo at 10:00 a.m.
- Your tour will last approximately two hours. You will visit Orvieto Underground and the Cathedral.
- Entrance tickets are already arranged.
Day 3
Discover Tuscany
- The driver will be at Selvamica at 9:30 a.m. sharp
- You will meet the guide in Montepulciano. You will visit Pienza as well.
- You will experience a cheese tasting at a local farm and will be back to Selvamica by 4-5 p.m.
Day 4
Enjoy the chef ’s art of cousine
- After a day of relax at Selvamica or a short visit of Orvieto’s market or Civita di Bagnoregio, you will enjoy a dinner prepared by your personal chef!
- You will arrange the menu and the time for dinner with Federica.
Day 5
Cooking class and dinner night
- Today is a relaxing day around the pool!
- You will have other memorable moments with Federica. She will show you how to prepare delicious food which you will eat by pairing local wines finely selected by Selvamica’s wine expert Paolo.
- And you will be actively cooking with Federica!
- Cooking class and dinner will last approximately 4-5 hrs.
Day 6
Renaissance day in Florence
- You will drive the car to the train station parking area. Directions were provided in the other document.
- The tour guide will meet you at the exit of the train station. Connect with the tour guide via WhatsApp.
- Entrance tickets are already arranged. Train tickets are not included in the package
Day 7
Uncover peaceful Assisi
- It will take approximately one hr. To get to Assisi. Cristiana will be your personal tour guide and she will meet you at the parking area XYX. Connect with her via WhatsApp.
- You will visit the Cathedral. Cristiana has arranged a lunch at a trattoria. Meal is not included in the package.
- On the way back to Selvamica, you will visit Montefalco and Bevagna.
Day 8
Explore Rome
- You will drive the car to the train station parking area. Directions were provided in the other document.
- You will meet the guide close to the Colosseum. Connect with the guide via WhatsApp.
- Entrance tickets are already arranged. Train tickets are not included in the package.
Day 9
Cycling through the hills of Umbria
- You will meet Paolo and Elena in Orvieto center at 10:00 a.m. They will be your GPS today!
- The tour will last approximately five hours, and it entails three stops at wineries where you will enjoy wine and typical finger food.
- You will back to Selvamica approximately at 5 p.m., ready for a buffet dinner.
Day 10
Wine Tasting in Orvieto
- With just a 15 minutes drive you will get to this beautiful winery.
- A tour of the estate, a heartfelt description of their philosophy and passion for wine making will fill the conversations
- Seated, you will enjoy local food paired with wines!
Day 11
Pizza night at Selvamica
- Today will be a relax day at Selvamica, eagerly waiting for Federica to show up!
- Of course, pizza is homemade! Of course, you will enjoy pizza with local wines and beers perfectly paired!
- The experience will last approximately three hours, and leftovers will stay with you the following day!
Day 12
Wine Tasting Day
- Salviano winery is just twenty minutes away from Selvamica.
- Our friends at the winery will welcome you, take you around the estate while recollecting historical facts, and sharing details on wine making.
- The experience will last approximately three hours, but it is up to….you!
- Recommended departure time from Selvamica: ~ 11:30 a.m.
Day 13
Just around the corner…
- You can take a break from relaxing around the pool.
- The perfect break is to visit a fascinating local town with just 12 residents. Civita di Bagnoregio is…well, you will see!
Day 14
Farewell Dinner
- Federica will prepare your last dinner at Selvamica. The deliciousness of Federica’s dishes will more than balance the downhearted spirit for the imminent return to the real world.
- This night is perfect to leave your impressions on the whole experience in the guestbook!
Day 15
Goodbye Selvamica, Goodbye Italy
- The driver will pick up at Selvamica at 6:00 a.m. sharp to take you to FCO.
- Double Check your belonging, be sure your passport is with you, as well as your credit cards, then you are all set!
